I was inspired to make this recipe when I sat down drinking an iced coffee. I found this recipe from food fusion channel. However I made some modification with the ingredients and the recipe. Instead of using cheddar, I was using mozzarella and also adding sour cream instead of regular cream.

The recipe is a bit tricky because the sauce can get bitter if you added too much mustard and sour cream. But let's get into the cooking lab now!

Marinade the chicken in a mixture of salt, pepper, rosemary, basil, parsley, olive oil.

Fillet the thicker part of the breast. Make sure it's deep enough so you can stuff more parsley and mozzarella cheese.

Stuff the chicken with Mozzarella cheese and parsley. Secure it with some toothpicks.

Repeat the marination process for another 10 minutes. While waiting for the marination process to finish, heat up the non-sticky skillet with 2 tbsp olive oil for frying.

To make this dish, you can also use regular cream instead of sour cream. To avoid the sauce becomes too bitter, don't add too much mustard and the sour cream.

Also, don't be afraid to make a huge room inside the chicken and add more cheese. So, it can be more cheesy. In the recipe above, I use a combination of Mozzarella and cheddar cheese. Unfortunately, I only put a little of them, so the cheese aren't that apparent. Be very generous with the cheese.

You can also make your own marination spices. Feel free to explore marination instead going with the basic salt and pepper. I like to mix multiple spices to add more flavor into the chicken and everything I eat.

In this cooking session, I learned that prepping all the ingredients ahead is more efficient than doing it later or when I am already cooking. Never ignore the power of prepping! prep first cook next, not the other way round.

Anyway, that's all for cooking session today. Thanks for checking my cooking lab. If you like Beef Recipe, check out Honey Beef Fillet With Tahini Sauce Recipe.
