Hot Navy Bean Soup With Help From the Winted Garden

There is nothing better, to me anyways, than hot Navy Bean Soup on a cold Winter Day with a slice of fresh buttered bread on the side.

Navy Bean Soup is easy to make especially if you have an Instant Pot which I just happen to have.

What is so great about the Instant Pot is that the beans come out tender, perfect every time, without having to soak them overnight. The Instant Pot includes the ability to saute so everything can be done in a single pot that makes clean up a breeze.

I am not really good with recipes and usually just add what I have around the kitchen. In this particular version of Navy Bean Soup I used:

Chicken Bone Broth
Cabbage
Leaks
Onions Carrots
Ham

For Spices
Salt
Pepper
Thyme
Parsley
Cholula Hot Sauce

The added bonus is that the Leaks and Cabbage came from my Winter Garden.

From garden to pot in less than an hour.

It is always nice to have fresh vegetables growing in your own back yard!

Do you have an Instant Pot?

Do you like Soup?

And yes I did bake the bread myself.
