About this video

This video is showcasing the Filipino/Ilocano way of cooking using a traditional woodfire on a clay stove. In this edition I will be showcasing "Sinigang na may Gabi". It is one of my favorite variants of Sinigang ever since, I just love the soup when combined with Taro (Gabi). There are lots of variants of sinigang, namely: Pork Sinigang, Bangus Sinigang (Milk Fish Sinigang), Tilapoa Sinigang, Dalag Sinigang, Shrimp Sinigang, Beef Sinigang, Chicken Sinigang. But buy all-time favorites are Pork and Milk Fish they are just very tasty and the soup is very tasty. There are also a lot of vegetables that can be used on sinigang namely: Water Spinach, Okra, Radish, String Beans, Mustard, Taro, Green Pepper, and Tomato. My personal favorite is Mustard and Taro. With that being said, this video is about cooking a pork sinigang with Mustard and Taro.
