Llegó El Carnaval (Esp/Ing)

Llegó el Carnaval y las calles de Cumaná se han vestido de fiesta, algarabía y brillo. Los niños son los que más se divierten en estas fechas, pues aprovechan para disfrazarse de sus personajes favoritos. Sus sonrisas matizan la ilusión de tales recreaciones fantásticas.

Carnival has arrived and the streets of Cumaná have been dressed up with festivities, noise and brightness. Children are the ones who have the most fun on these dates, as they take the opportunity to dress up as their favorite characters. Their smiles tinge the illusion of such fantastic recreations.

Fue así como la Plaza Ayacucho cambió su decoración decembrina. Ahora el ambiente invita a celebración, caravanas, comparsas..., espectáculos muy coloridos que están destinados al disfrute del público. Como pueden apreciar en las fotos, dispusieron diferentes telas de vinilo en los árboles, incluso, se intenta jugar con diferentes formas, aprovechando lo moldeable de este material.

This is how the Plaza Ayacucho changed its Christmas decorations. Now the atmosphere invites to celebration, caravans, parades..., very colorful shows that are intended for the enjoyment of the public. As you can see in the photos, different vinyl fabrics were placed on the trees, even trying to play with different shapes, taking advantage of the moldability of this material.

El teatro Luis Mariano Rivero para no desentonar colocó en su fachada algunas máscaras, decoraciones con telas de vinilo y banderines. Las figuras centrales son bastante llamativas y tienen un aire de misterio, tratando de llevar lo exótico de esta festividad carnestolenda. No voy a negar que quedó bastante vistoso. Sin embargo, creo que faltó una mejor estética en cuanto a la disposición de las telas ya que en una mirada rápida podría dar la sensación de desorden.

The Luis Mariano Rivero Theater placed some masks, vinyl fabric decorations and banners on its façade. The central figures are quite striking and have an air of mystery, trying to bring the exotic of this carnival festival. I will not deny that it was quite colorful. However, I think it lacked a better aesthetic in terms of the arrangement of the fabrics because at a quick glance it could give the impression of disorder.
