This is a beautiful Butterfly Cocoon I found in the lemongrass plantation in front of my house. I was hoping to get a great result because the cocoon should stand still, I should have done better, and gotten from a few angles.
But alas I could only get one shot that stands out, the rest is just a cut-out cocoon. Maybe I just can't wait for it to open up and show the beautiful butterfly inside of it.
I am not sure what kind of butterfly it is, but the pattern and the shape are very nice. Love the dot scatters all across the cocoon.
