Over the weekend, my husband and I rose early to get ready for a journey and visit "Lard Long Lae @ Bang Nu," situated in Phang Nga Province. The distance from our house was approximately 60 kilometers. "Lard Long Lae @ Bang Nu" is a Sunday-only morning market nestled amidst the palm plantations of the local villagers. It operates as a community market with a strong commitment to environmental friendliness. While exploring the market, you get to immerse yourself in the distinctive ambiance of the shops and the natural surroundings.

We reached the market at around 10:00 a.m., finding the parking area brimming with cars and scarcely any available space. It marked our second visit to this marketplace, with our last experience dating back two years. Opting to park our car near the hill, we noticed a revered Buddha image atop it, held in deep belief by the local villagers. Two Nagas guarded the entrance, creating a mythical threshold.

Before the market stirred to life in the morning, this area served as a sacred space inviting monks to come and offer alms. The blend of cultural traditions, spirituality, and the vibrant marketplace created a unique atmosphere that lingered in the air.

Prior to entering the market, I ascended the hill to pay homage to the Buddha statue.
