Pawpaw is a kind of fruit that is sweet which can also serve as food. Pawpaw fruit has a yellow color from inside with a small black seed usually use for planting of other pawpaw. Pawpaw can be planted anywhere because of its nature making it very common among people. Pawpaw is the kind of fruit which I have mostly seen growing on its own without anyone or farmer planting it. Most times flooding and flowing rivers usually carry pawpaw seeds and then stop in one place which later may resolve to germination.
Because pawpaw can germinate and grow on its own doesn't mean we should allow it affect our environment. If pawpaw is not properly monitored or redirected to a better land, it may affect our environment. I have gone almost where pawpaw are planted in my village and I have recorded that half of the planted pawpaw germinated on its own. It's very important that we should transplanted pawpaw that germinated on its own to a better land because it keep it off from affecting our environment and also be helpful for the pawpaw to grow well. Not minding that pawpaw can survive so many soil, it still need fertile land for it to produce so many fruits that will be sweet to the mouth when eating.
So many people are not aware that pawpaw can pull down a building. Many people looks at pawpaw tree and see it as a weak one because the stem is very soft. Pawpaw stems may be soft including its roots. Pawpaw roots usually goes very far into the soil. The roots may not go very deeper to the soil but can go very far soil close surfaces. When pawpaw roots goes this far and it was planted where a building is the wall of the building will start to crack and later falls down.
It'll not be fine that one will build a house and pawpaw will make the building to fall. So to stop such we don't need to be allowing pawpaw near our houses because of the danger of the roots. Pawpaw roots may not affect our building when the stem and it's roots is young but when mature. The earlier the better for prevention. So it's important to remove pawpaw new our building and plant to a soil far from it.
