Wednesday Walk in the busy Street Market!

Don't get me wrong! I never intend to make this walk.

Wondering why I'm saying this?

Just look at the pictures, how busy the place is, how many people are there. It seems like Covid is a joke to us.

The government announced Lockdown until 3rd May. On the other hand, all the shopping malls and markets are open. It's two opposite things, occurring at the same time. It's like a joke, I mean, what should we follow. Or we should go by our own rule? I guess most of the people the following the second option.

Otherwise, what on earth made them come to this busy street market when the positive rate of Covid affected people is rising day by day. And another thing is the Indian variant, it's going to affect us sooner or later. But sooner, I guess.

So why I was there?

My eyeglasses have been cracked by my son the other day. I ordered a new one yesterday and today I went outside to receive that. Unfortunately, I didn't know about this busy street market, I thought it would not take place because of the lockdown but no need to say I was wrong.

You may think, then why the government took this decision?

Well, because of the pressure from the business group. Our Eid (Muslim's biggest religious festival) is coming. So there will be a million $ exchange/shopping. But if the lockdown continues and the malls can't open then it will be a big loss. Also, it will make a huge negative impact on our economy. It's true, there's no way to deny it.

That's why I believe, we need to choose wisely what is really important for our life. Let's be more concerned and aware of what we are doing actually and what matters most!
