"I Be a Woman-Owned Store!" We're in the 60's again.

...Looking up companies through Google Maps.

Now, is this necessary?

"Identifies as women-owned"?

Not that i have a problem with it, nor even a problem with going to a "woman-owned identified store". But it sounds to me that this creates a divide; this is an attempt at segregation.

Talk about male chauvinism, what am i supposed to think about this if not female chauvinism?

Imagine stores on Google saying "Man-owned store". It doesn't even make sense in my mind, and i'm a man! Who cares what gender the person is who owns the store? Is Google trying to pit women against men? Trying to create this xenophobia, this gender apartheid?

Look, if the store was for women's care products, health products, textile products, anything ... i mean, that wouldn't even make that much sense either, because there's not many gender-specific products, compared to the number of products that are used, gender-neutrally!

And even if the store was for women products, you don't phrase it "women-owned store", would you? At the most "Women Product Store". That would be informational. "Identified as Woman-Owned" is not useful information, unless if you're trying to start a war.

And to top this unnecessary labeling, the store i was looking at sells electrical stuff. Wires, soldering things, leds, lamps, stuff anyone needs to fix something electrical.

My god, i mean. How much pampering are women taking?

Is it supposed to be cute?

Like i said, i have no problem with it, other than not understanding the point.

I guess women like to keep score, and this is just another way they found to scratch another mark on the score board...

I say, women, like in general, but this is Google's doing, probably pushed by hardcore feminists, i'm speaking to those. And we all know, extremists are not good for society..!

Remember Hitler?

Yeah, i'm comparing feminists to Hitler.
