Hace algún tiempo los vende humos se ufanaban de tener la capacidad de motivar e inspirar a otros, ya fuese al contar sus historias, emitir frases cliché: "tú puedes", "sigue adelante", "naciste para cosas extraordinarias" o simplemente dando consejos pseudocientíficos, pero esta época ha ido desapareciendo.

Ese tipo de pensamiento, que promueve la existencia de un motivador, está alineado con el concepto de liderazgo motivador aquella superación ofertada por muchos ante el liderazgo impositivo y que nacieron de las situaciones empresariales dónde no había respuesta ante lo evidente: personal sin ánimos de trabajar, que era un reflejo del sin sabor que tenía la vida, ante tantas adversidades y penurias.
Sin embargo, la actualidad nos muestra que cada día las personas tomamos conciencia de la necesidad y la obligación de asumir la motivación como una decisión personal, trascendental e intransferible y que no depende de palabras bonitas que alguien pueda decir, sino que está relacionado con el auto concepto y la valoración individual, que debe fortalecerse y educarse.
Entiendo que más de uno pensará en fulano o en perencejo que le llena de vitalidad y le ayuda a tener mejor ánimo, pero eso poco a poco va dejando su espacio a personas que se tienen estima personal, se reconocen valiosos y poseen una gran confianza en sí mismos, porque la verdad es que nadie motiva a nadie, como lo afirman conclusiones a las que llegó Harry Frederick Harlow
Y si eres de los que considera que necesitas un motivador o ese gasolinero que nos dice Crobu, debes saber que eres una especie de esclavo y que has entregado tu autonomía a otro, cuyo poder crecer en la medida que más dependiente te vuelves
En definitiva, la época de los gasolineros va pasando y se va haciendo más fuerte y consciente el uso individual de la motivación intrínseca, para que seamos en lo individual animosos para actuar en lo grupal con convicción y vitalidad.
