ENGLISH:
I've been having psychological consultations for about 3 months now, finally, after so many years in which I had an aversion to seek that kind of help, I'm on the way to find myself from that angle. And I have a series of sensations and worries heh, heh, heh. About 3 weeks ago I asked the doctor what my diagnosis was. Because I've been talking to him for a long time and I feel like it's been just digging and digging in my mind. Not easy by the way. For everything I have an explanation or a reason for being and the conversations with the doctor have been the most fun. I always cry, it's true, because saying certain things out loud is strong and yet it makes me feel good not to be judged.
ROUTE CHANGE
The basic question was: How do I deal with the conflict? And from there we went down different paths from my past about this attitude to conflict which is "avoidance". I avoid it for different reasons and the main one is: "I don't like it". But the doctor hinted to me that there were reasons to have this aversion to conflict.
MANAGING EMOTIONS
The doctor complimented me on the "emotional maturity" that I tend to have at times. In other words, reflecting on certain facts or attitudes is a work and an effort to always understand myself. Not only for peace of mind but for health. I don't have many childhood memories of play, my memories are either of dancing, reading, mischief with my brother or hospitals and subjects that are difficult to understand at my age.
How do you tell a child that the pain is not going to go away forever, that it is only momentary and that she should do her best not to fall back into it?
I have been sleeping much better for months now, the panic attacks have subsided, but the anxiety is still there and a recurring thought that I can't even write down is still there. I think the latter is the one I need to figure out so I can be calmer with myself and move forward with my life.
THE DIAGNOSIS
I am really grateful for allowing myself to listen to a person who is trying to help me and give me the space to learn a little more about my attitudes.
