Como seres humanos nos formamos y preparamos para, entre otros aspectos, ejercer una profesión e incluso llegar a ejercer cargos directivos. En mi caso particular, durante varios años ocupé el cargo de Vicerrector Académico en una universidad pública ubicada en estado Sucre, Venezuela.
As human beings, we train and prepare ourselves to, among other things, exercise a profession and even hold managerial positions. In my particular case, for several years I held the position of Academic Vice Chancellor at a public university located in the state of Sucre, Venezuela.
Durante el tiempo que estuve al frente de esta responsabilidad la desempeñé con la mayor dedicación y disciplina, siempre respetando a todos aquellos que estaban bajo mi dirección, asegurándome que el ambiente de trabajo estuviera cargado de armonía y compañerismo entre todos; rasgos esenciales para el logro de una formación pertinente para los futuros profesionales.
During the time I was in charge of this responsibility, I performed it with the greatest dedication and discipline, always respecting all those who were under my direction, making sure that the work environment was full of harmony and camaraderie among all; essential features for the achievement of relevant training for future professionals.
Para alcanzar esta meta, sin dudas, conté con el apoyo de valiosos colegas quienes dieron lo mejor de sí, en lo personal y profesional, para coadyuvar en la consolidación de la nuestra Alma Mater teniendo como epicentro a los jóvenes que se incorporaron a nuestras aulas en busca de un futuro provisor.
To achieve this goal, without a doubt, I had the support of valuable colleagues who gave their best, personally and professionally, to help consolidate our Alma Mater, having as its epicenter the young people who joined our classrooms. looking for a future provider.
Pero no es menos cierto, debo decir, que durante este recorrido la gestión se vio azotada, asediada, por aquellos que apostaban no solo por mi fracaso, sino también por el fracaso de toda la gestión académica, todo ello por el simple hecho de no prestarnos a su juego macabro. Un juego que solo buscaba el beneficio personal de unos pocos oportunistas en detrimento del bienestar colectivo de toda la universidad.
But it is no less true, I must say, that during this journey the management was whipped, besieged, by those who bet not only on my failure, but also on the failure of the entire academic management, all for the simple fact of not lend ourselves to their macabre game. A game that only sought the personal benefit of a few opportunists to the detriment of the collective welfare of the entire university.
Estos azotes hoy rinden sus frutos con mi salida del Vicerrectorado Académico, salida que ha provocado satisfacción en los oportunistas que miran la universidad como su fuente de ingresos personal. Creen que con mi salida cierran toda posibilidad para continuar mi crecimiento personal y profesional. No pueden estar más equivocados.
These whippings pay off today with my departure from the Academic Vice Chancellor, a departure that has caused satisfaction in the opportunists who see the university as their source of personal income. They believe that with my departure they close all possibility to continue my personal and professional growth. They couldn't be more wrong.
Puedo decir que dejo el cargo con la frente en alto, satisfecho del trabajo realizado, agradecido con todas y todos los que me acompañaron de forma sincera y desinteresada, orgulloso de los estudiantes formados y egresados durante la gestión. De igual manera, con orgullo debo decir, he recibido la invitación de FUNDACITE-Sucre, institución adscrita al Ministerio de Ciencia y Tecnología, para que forme parte de su equipo y los ayude para apalancar e impulsar el desarrollo científico y tecnológico en esta región. Esto es una muestra de que mi trabajo rindió sus frutos a pesar de los ataques de aquellos que solo quieren verme caer.
I can say that I leave office with my head held high, satisfied with the work done, grateful to each and everyone who accompanied me in a sincere and selfless way, proud of the students trained and graduated during the administration. Likewise, I am proud to say that I have received the invitation from FUNDACITE-Sucre, an institution attached to the Ministry of Science and Technology, to be part of their team and help them leverage and promote scientific and technological development in this region. This is a sign that my work paid off despite the attacks of those who just want to see me fall.
Lo importante no es caer, sino levantarse y seguir haciendo senderos al andar; siempre nos toparemos con personas que quieran nuestro mal, que quieran nuestro fracaso, a esas personas debemos demostrarles con nuestra aptitud positiva, con nuestros principios y valores que están equivocados.
The important thing is not to fall, but to get up and continue making trails as you walk; we will always come across people who want our harm, who want our failure, we must show those people with our positive aptitude, with our principles and values that they are wrong.
Debemos demostrar que estamos hecho de buena energía, que nuestro propósito en la vida es hacer el bien, ayudar a quien lo necesite, apostar por una consciencia planetaria para que todas y todos podamos coexistir en armonía.
We must show that we are made of good energy, that our purpose in life is to do good, help those who need it, bet on a planetary consciousness so that we can all coexist in harmony.
Seamos solidarios, apoyemos y busquemos apoyo en aquellas y aquellos que piensen como nosotros, uniendo nuestras sanas intensiones en favor del bienestar común podremos derrotar a los que con su mala energía, con su mala vibra, su egocentrismo y arrogancia pretenden socavar el pensamiento de aquellos que estamos dispuesto a construir una sociedad, un mundo, un futuro mejor.
Let us be in solidarity, support and seek support from those who think like us, uniting our healthy intentions in favor of the common welfare, we will be able to defeat those who with their bad energy, their bad vibes, their self-centeredness and arrogance seek to undermine the thinking of those that we are willing to build a society, a world, a better future.
