El fin de semana tuvimos la oportunidad de celebrar la vida, ya que mi amiga Emi a quien conozco desde hace unos 20 años estuvo de cumpleaños y nos permito compartir con ella en ese día tan importante. La idea principal era celebrarlo con una comida en un restaurante muy bonito de la ciudad, pero a última hora decidimos darle la oportunidad a un local ubicado por la zona industrial, en el centro comercial los Samanes llamado La potoquita 1912. Hablando de la noche en general les puedo decir que la pasamos super bien, hablamos un montón y nos reímos mucho también, siempre es muy bonito compartir con mis amigas.
La calidad de las hamburguesas es otro tema. Mi esposo y yo llegamos a la conclusión de que la carne tenía mucha sal, por lo que se nos dificultó poder terminar de comerla por completo, además de que las salsas que llevaban no hacían un buen contraste con los demás ingredientes, así que, a pesar de tener un buen tamaño, no volveríamos a comer allí 🫠. No siempre se gana en esta vida, la idea es ir probando en varios lugares porque en la variedad está el gusto, ya sabemos que este no es nuestro lugar, pero eso no arruinó nuestra noche; fue un día especial y estamos agradecidos ✨.

This weekend we had the opportunity to celebrate life, as my friend Emi, who I have known for 20 years, had her birthday and we were able to share it with her on this important day. The main idea was to celebrate it with a meal in a very nice restaurant in the city, but at the last minute we decided to give the opportunity to a place located in the industrial area, in the Samanes shopping centre called La potoquita 1912. Talking about the night in general I can tell you that we had a great time, we talked a lot and we laughed a lot too, it's always nice to share with my friends.
The quality of the burgers is another issue. My husband and I came to the conclusion that the meat was too salty, which made it difficult for us to finish eating it completely, and the sauces did not contrast well with the other ingredients, so, despite being a good size, we would not eat there again 🫠. You can't always win in this life, the idea is to try different places because variety is the spice of life, we know that this is not our place, but that didn't ruin our night; it was a special day and we are grateful ✨.
