Hacer un unboxing y hablar de tecnología, puede parecer una tarea complicada. Bien sea porque quizás no estamos familiarizados con el productor, porque sentimos que somos personas que no nos llevamos bien con la tecnología, o bien, porque sabemos mucho y nos cuesta expresar todas las ideas en un post. Pensando en eso, y muchos otros panoramas, desde Geek Zone queremos compartir algunas ideas, tips o sugerencias que les puedan servir de ayuda a la hora de crear contenido unboxing / reseñas de esa tecnología que adquieren.
Antes de comenzar con esos tips, ten en cuenta que en la comunidad valoramos más la experiencia de ti como usuario. Eso quiere decir que, en vez de enfocarte en las bondades técnicas de un equipo, si sientes que no tienes la experiencia para hablar de ellas, enfócate en tu experiencia de uso y en cómo te han ayudado esas características en tus actividades diarias.
Dicho eso, te presentamos algunos tips que puedes tomar en cuenta a la hora de crear contenido unboxing o general sobre algún equipo de tecnología:
1- Comencemos con el título. En el título es importante que pueda ir el nombre del equipo del cual estas hablando. Por ejemplo, si se trata de un unboxing de un smartphone Samsung S22, entonces coloca en el título el nombre del dispositivo. De esa forma, las personas pueden saber de qué equipo se trata. Muchos usuarios colocan cosas como: he comprado un nuevo smartphone y aunque no está mal, puedes incorporar el nombre del dispositivo quedando de esta manera:
- He comprado un nuevo smartphone | Unboxing iPhone 13 Pro Max
- Unboxing Samsung Galaxy S22 | Mi nueva adquisición
- El mejor módulo de cámara que he probado – Mi experiencia con un Samsung Galaxy S22
Esos 3 títulos son simples ejemplos si tu publicación trata de un unboxing, o de alguna experiencia de uso. De esa forma, el lector puede comprender desde el inicio cual es el enfoque de tu entrada o post.
2- Si se trata de un unboxing y no estás haciendo video, toma suficientes fotografías del producto. Esto con el objetivo de poder conocer a detalles cual es el contenido de la caja. Mientras presentas las fotografías, puedes describir con tus propias palabras cada una de las piezas contenidas en ella. Por ejemplo, si se trata de un unboxing de un smartphone, presenta la caja y todo el contenido que esta dentro de ella, como el smartphone y su estructura física, el cargador y todas las demás cosas que estén en la caja. Si tu unboxing es en formato video, tómate el tiempo de presentar a detalles el producto para que los que te están viendo, puedan observar bien el equipo. Esto manteniendo de igual manera las normas descritas en la comunidad en cuanto al formato de los posts en video y el número de palabras.
3- Cuando estés describiendo el producto, no hace falta que copies y pegues de Internet las características de un equipo. Puedes documentarte en caso de tener dudas y no entiendas algo, pero con colocar aquellas características que vienen descritas en la caja, manual o las que descubras utilizando el equipo, son suficientes. Siempre puedes agregar un hipervínculo hacia otra página, donde puedas sugerir a tus lectores que de querer conocer a detalles todas las características del equipo, pueden ir a leer. Ejemplo:
El Redmi note 11 es un equipo que cuenta con una cámara principal de 50 megapixeles, un procesador qualcomm snapdragon 680, una pantalla Amoled a 90hz y una carga rápida de 33w. Si quieres conocer a detalles todas las características técnicas, puedes visitar esta pagina.
Esa información fue sacada del papel que tiene pegado el equipo cuando lo sacas de la caja.
4- Coloca todas las fuentes que utilices para hablar del producto. Si consultas algún medio y copias y pegas las características de algún equipo, debes dejar la fuente de donde sacaste la información, siempre. Ejemplo de cómo lo puedes hacer:
De acuerdo al medio tecnológico smartGSM,
“El Redmi Note 11 cuenta con una pantalla AMOLED de 6.43 pulgadas a resolución FHD+ y tasa de refresco de 90Hz. Nosotros recomendamos que utilicen sus propias palabras y es lo que más valoramos en Geek Zone, pero no condenamos en lo absoluto que citen medios digitales para hablar de las características o funciones de un equipo, siempre y cuando el contenido citado sea tan solo un pequeño fragmento del post, ya que el lector quiere conocer es tu opinión.
5- No tomes las fotografías por tomarlas. Recuerda que, aparte de hablar del producto, tu publicación será atractiva si las fotos son atractivas. Al final de cuentas, las personas van a querer observar en las fotos lo que estás describiendo con tus palabras.
Estas normas aplican a cualquier tipo de contenido sobre tecnología. Ya sea que estés describiendo un producto, haciendo un unboxing, visitando alguna tienda de tecnología o comentando sobre tu experiencia de uso. De cualquier forma, detallar el producto en imágenes o video, colocar el nombre del equipo en el título y de que trata y colocar las fuentes si estas citando algún medio de tecnología, es lo recomendable.

Unboxing and talking about technology may seem a complicated task. Either because perhaps we are not familiar with the product, because we feel that we are people who do not get along well with technology, or because we know a lot and it is difficult for us to express all our ideas in a post. Thinking about that, and many other scenarios, from Geek Zone we want to share some ideas, tips or suggestions that can help you when creating unboxing content / reviews of the technology you acquire.
Before starting with those tips, keep in mind that in the community we value more the experience of you as a user. That means that, instead of focusing on the technical features of a device, if you feel you don't have the experience to talk about them, focus on your user experience and how those features have helped you in your daily activities.
Here are some tips that you can take into account when creating unboxing or general content about a piece of technology equipment:
1- Let's start with the title. In the title it is important to include the name of the device you are talking about. For example, if it is an unboxing of a Samsung S22 smartphone, then put the name of the device in the title. That way, people can know what device it is. Many users put things like: I bought a new smartphone and although it is not bad, you can incorporate the name of the device in the title like this:
- I have bought a new smartphone | Unboxing iPhone 13 Pro Max
- Unboxing Samsung Galaxy S22 | My New Acquisition
- The best camera module I've ever tried - My experience with a Samsung Galaxy S22
These 3 titles are simple examples if your post is about unboxing, or about a user experience. That way, the reader can understand from the beginning what the focus of your post is.
2- If it is an unboxing and you are not making a video, take enough pictures of the product. This in order to know in detail what is the content of the box. While presenting the pictures, you can describe in your own words each of the pieces contained in it. For example, if you are unboxing a smartphone, present the box and all the contents inside it, such as the smartphone and its physical structure, the charger and all the other things that are in the box. If your unboxing is in video format, take the time to present the product in detail so that those who are watching you, can observe the equipment well. This while maintaining the rules described in the community regarding the format of the video posts and the number of words.
3- When you are describing the product, it is not necessary to copy and paste the characteristics of a device from the Internet. You can document yourself in case you have doubts and do not understand something, but if you put those features that are described in the box, manual or those that you discover using the equipment, they are enough. You can always add a hyperlink to another page, where you can suggest to your readers that if they want to know in detail all the features of the equipment, they can go to read. Example:
The Redmi note 11 is a device that has a 50 megapixel main camera, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor, an Amoled screen at 90hz and a fast charge of 33w. If you want to know in detail all the technical characteristics, you can visit this page.
This information was taken from the paper that is attached to the equipment when you take it out of the box.
4- Put all the sources you use to talk about the product. If you consult any media and copy and paste the characteristics of some equipment, you must always leave the source from where you got the information. Example of how you can do it:

We recommend that you use your own words and that is what we value the most in Geek Zone, but we do not condemn at all that you quote digital media to talk about the features or functions of a device, as long as the quoted content is only a small fragment of the post, since the reader wants to know is your opinion.
5- Don't take pictures for the sake of taking them. Remember that, apart from talking about the product, your publication will be attractive if the photos are attractive. At the end of the day, people will want to see in the photos what you are describing with your words.
These rules apply to any type of content about technology. Whether you are describing a product, doing an unboxing, visiting a technology store or commenting on your experience of use. Either way, detailing the product in images or video, placing the name of the equipment in the title and what it is about and placing the sources if you are quoting any technology media, is recommended.
