Hola, querida comunidad de Hive Open Mic, nos encontramos ya en la Semana 145 y con una temática interesante: "Glory" (Gloria) propuesta por

@sleemfit, nuestro Artista Destacado. En esta temática, las canciones se centran en la alabanza a Dios o en el amor hacia Él o hacia sus hijos.

Y es que hablar de "Gloria" es pensar en el único que merece de veras recibir gloria y alabanza: Nuestro Señor.
Es recordar que estar en la gloria es estar en el Cielo con Él. Y es interesante que si en inglés "sky" se refiere al cielo físico y "heaven" al Cielo en el que se encuentra Dios en todo el esplendor de su gloria, en castellano también tenemos dos términos (pero usamos uno sólo). Cuando decimos "cielo" nos referimos al cielo que ven los ojos físicos, mientras que el término "empíreo" es ese Cielo (así, con mayúsculas) donde están Dios y sus ángeles.

En el himno nacional de Venezuela hay unas líneas que dicen "...y desde el empíreo el Supremo Autor un sublime aliento al pueblo infundió". Pero... Solo allí utilizamos el término.

Bien, cielo es sky y empíreo es heaven.

Y acá en la Tierra lo más parecido a la gloria es el amor, y por eso al ser que amamos nos atrevemos a decirle " mi cielo".

La madurez de la Humanidad vendrá en medida proporcional a que la misma caiga en cuenta que lo más importante de todo es el amor. Nuestro Señor Jesucristo lo expresó de muchas formas, la más clara y precisa cuando nos exhortó a "amar a Dios sobre todas las cosas y a nuestro prójimo como a nosotros mismos". Poner esto en práctica haría que el Reino de Dios (la gloria) estuviera en medio nuestro (aún acá, en la imperfección de nuestra vida terrenal).

Cuando amamos podemos decir que estamos "en la gloria" y decirle "cielo" a la persona que hizo nacer en nosotros ese bello sentimiento.

Por eso hoy les traigo una canción que habla del amor. Se trata de un clásico: "Yesterday" (Ayer), original del inolvidable grupo de Los Beatles. Espero que les agrade mi versión a capella ya que aún estoy tratando de encontrar alguien que me acompañe instrumentalmente.

Hello dear Hive Open Mic community, we are already in Week 145 and with an interesting theme: "Glory" (Gloria) proposed by @sleemfit, our Spotlight Artist. In this theme, the songs focus on praising God or on love for him or for his children.
And it is that to speak of "Glory" is to think of the only one who truly deserves to receive glory and praise: Our Lord.

It is to remember that to be in glory is to be in Heaven with Him. And it is interesting that if in English "sky" refers to the physical sky and "heaven" to the Heaven in which God is found in all the splendor of his glory, In Spanish we also have two terms (but we use only one). When we say "cielo" we refer to the sky that physical eyes see, while the term "empíreo" is that Heaven (like this, with capital letters) where God and his angels are.

In the national anthem of Venezuela there are some lines that say "...and from the empyrean (empíreo) the Supreme Author instilled a sublime encouragement to the people." But... Only there we use the term.

Well, cielo is sky and empíreo is heaven.

And here on Earth the closest thing to glory is love, and that is why we dare to call the being we love "my heaven".

The maturity of Humanity will come in proportion to the fact that it realizes that the most important thing of all is love. Our Lord Jesus Christ expressed it in many ways, the most clear and precise when he exhorted us to "love God above all things and our neighbor as ourselves." Putting this into practice would make the Kingdom of God (glory) be in our midst (even here, in the imperfection of our earthly life).

When we love we can say that we are "en la gloria" and say "cielo" to the person who gave birth to that beautiful feeling in us.
