Hace exactamente dos semanas realicé el anuncio de la iniciativa del mes desde nuestra comunidad Hive Food. Esta iniciativa fue particularmente diferente y especial porque estuvo diseñada para que interactuáramos através desde una de las DApps de nuestro ecosistema más populares en los últimos meses: @liketu. Algo que me complace es que fueron varios Hivers quienes se animaron a mostrar su creatividad fotográfica al compartirnos una expresión tan genuina al probar una comida deliciosa.
Todos los #FoodieMoment estuvieron increíbles y, siendo sincera, me dejaron un poco antojada por querer probar todos esos platillos deliciosos que compartieron en sus momentos. Para esta iniciativa decidí premiar a un Top 5 de los Mejores Foodie Moment, aquellos que con su Fotografía de Alimentos y sus expresiones tan particulares al probar un primer bocado, me transmitieron esa sensación de que lo que llegaron a probar estaba realmente increíble. Entonces, sin más preámbulos, aquí les comparto este Top 5.
Hello, hello Foodies!
Exactly two weeks ago I made the announcement of the initiative of the month from our Hive Food community. This initiative was particularly different and special because it was designed for us to interact through one of the most popular DApps of our ecosystem in recent months: @liketu. Something that pleases me is that there were several Hivers who were encouraged to show their photographic creativity by sharing with us such a genuine expression when tasting a delicious meal.
All the #FoodieMoment were amazing and, to be honest, they left me a little bit craving to try all those delicious dishes they shared in their moments. For this initiative I decided to award a Top 5 Best Foodie Moment, those who with their Food Photography and their very particular expressions when they tasted a first bite, transmitted me that feeling that what they got to taste was really amazing. So, without further ado, here I share with you this Top 5.

Moment for...Tres Leches Cake! with @zullyscott
En el quinto lugar de este Top se encuentra @zullyscott con su Torta Tres Leches. Me encanta la expresión de Zully en su Mejor Momento Foodie porque nos describe a la perfección en ese instante en el que nos tomamos al menos unos segundos para percibir al datalle cada uno de los sabores y texturas. Zully simplemente supo transmitir a la perfección que ese bocado de torta fue todo un deleite al paladar. Ella comenta que fue un postre preparado con amor y que, exactamente, así supo, ¡eso está más que claro en su expresión! ¿se dan cuenta lo mucho que una fotografía puede transmitir?
In fifth place in this Top is @zullyscott with her Tres Leches Cake. I love Zully's expression in her Best Foodie Moment because it describes us perfectly in that instant when we take at least a few seconds to perceive each of the flavors and textures. Zully simply knew how to transmit perfectly that that bite of cake was a delight to the palate. She comments that it was a dessert prepared with love and that's exactly how it tasted, that's more than clear in her expression! Do you realize how much a photograph can transmit?

Yo siempre he dicho que una comida preparada con amor es una cura para el alma. Podemos estar tristes, molestos, decepcionados o simplemente abatidos porque tuvimos un mal día, pero no hay mal que dure mil años si en nuestra mesa tenemos una comida calientita preparada por nuestras abuelas y madres. No existe algo más reparador que esto y precisamente @ashley.vlogs nos lo demuestra con su #FoodieMoment tan especial.
I have always said that a meal prepared with love is a cure for the soul. We can be sad, upset, disappointed or just down because we had a bad day, but there is no evil that lasts a thousand years if we have a warm meal prepared by our grandmothers and mothers on our table. There is nothing more restorative than this and @ashley.vlogs proves it with her very special #FoodieMoment.

A foodie moment that takes us back to childhood with @mergusa88
Pero la comida no sólo nos puede subir nuestro estado de ánimo, sino también puede traernos bonitos recuerdos a nuestra memoria y transportarnos a momentos especiales vividos en ciertas etapas de nuestra vida. Me atrevo a decir que muchos de nosotros durante nuestra infancia tuvimos algún postre o dulce en particular que nos encantaba y siempre se encontraba presente en nuestras meriendas. En esta oportunidad, @mergusa88 nos recuerda que en algún momento de nuestra infancia nuestra combinación favorita para la merienda fueron las galletas oreo de chocolate con un vaso de leche fría. Este #FoodieMoment tiene un toque muy especial porque Mercedes nos transmite esa alegría que nuestro niño interno experimenta al poder comer en su merienda sus galletas favoritas.
But food can not only lift our mood, it can also bring back beautiful memories and transport us to special moments we experienced at certain stages of our lives. I dare say that many of us during our childhood had a particular dessert or sweet that we loved and was always present in our snacks. In this opportunity, @mergusa88 reminds us that at some point in our childhood our favorite snack combination was chocolate oreo cookies with a glass of cold milk. This #FoodieMoment has a very special touch because Mercedes transmits us that joy that our inner child experiences when being able to eat her favorite cookies in her snack.

Moment for...a juicy burger! with @lililuki
El #FoodieMoment de Lili fue uno de los que más gracia me causó porque ella comenta que esa hamburguesa estaba tan deliciosa que tras cada mordisco lo que pensaba era lo siguiente: “Ojalá esto fuera mi esposo”...¡imagínense! así habrá sido ese momento foodie. Veo su fotografía y sólo imagino a Lili repitiendo lo increíble que estaba esa hamburguesa y es que incluso la fotografía habla por sí sola.
Lili's #FoodieMoment was one of the funniest because she said that the burger was so delicious that after each bite she thought the following: "I wish this was my husband"...just imagine! that must have been what that foodie moment must have been like. I see her picture and I can only imagine Lili repeating how amazing that burger was and even the picture speaks for itself.

Moment of...mustard breast with coriander paste! by @marvic-1194
El primer lugar de este Top 5 se lo lleva Marvic con su pechuga a la mostaza acompañada de una pasta al cilantro...ósea, ¡QUÉ! Miren nada más lo increíble que luce ese almuerzo y esa pasta color verde. En su momento foodie Marvic decidió incluir más de una fotografía captando el antes, el durante y el después de probar ese platillo tan espectacular. Cada una de sus expresiones resultaron muy genuinas y divertidas logrando captar a la perfección la esencia de esta iniciativa.

The first place in this Top 5 goes to Marvic with his mustard breast accompanied by a cilantro pasta...well, WHAT! Just look at how amazing that lunch and that green pasta looks. In his foodie moment Marvic decided to include more than one picture capturing the before, during and after of tasting that spectacular dish. Each of his expressions were very genuine and funny, capturing perfectly the essence of this initiative.
