Feliz y bendecido inicio de semana, amigos Hivers y Foodies.
La comida es uno de mis mayores placeres, y los dulces están en el top de mis cosas favoritas, siempre son buenos para levantarte el ánimo. Hace unos días recibí un regalo, aunque a mí me gusta llamarle un Dulce de Disculpas, porque sé que las intenciones detrás del mismo fueron decir “lo siento” sin usar las palabras, así que comparto fotos de la deliciosa torta (pastel) que recibí.
Tengo un amigo con el que había un poco de tensión, y aunque nos gustábamos un poco, siento que las cosas se han venido a pico, por errores de ambos claro. Lo cierto es que, por azares del destino, él cometió un error que me lastimó bastante, y aunque le dije que no le diera importancia, sí me afectó y él lo notó. Ese día me fui de su casa y traté de ignorar lo que había pasado, saqué a pasear a mis perritas con mis hermanos y distraer mi mente. Recibí una llamada de él, que me tomó un poco por sorpresa, y me dijo “En tu casa te espera una pequeña sorpresa”.
Al llegar a casa estaba su prima con unas flores amarillas y la deliciosa torta, también llamado pastel, que aunque sé que las vende su tía, igual me hizo sentir un poco mejor. De inmediato me mandó un mensaje y me pidió disculpas, por lo del error y por no haberme regalado flores amarillas antes. Confieso que, como buen comelón que soy, las flores pasaron a segundo plano cuando destapé la torta, se veía deliciosa, y amo las tortas mojadas.

Era una deliciosa torta tres leches, estaba lo suficientemente mojada para que me encantara, el sabor fue explosivo, toda esa sensación dulce que me encanta. Luego del primer mordisco, prácticamente no pude detenerme, a duras penas grabé el pequeño gif que les muestro antes de dar los bocados finales. La compartí con mi familia porque no podía ser egoísta y quedarme yo solo con ese sabor dulce y exquisito en mi paladar.
Está de más decir que de inmediato olvidé todo el problema y le di las gracias, jajaja, así que ya saben, si hicieron molestar a un amante de los dulces y quieren pedir disculpas, no hay nada que una rica torta tres leches no resuelva.

Happy and blessed start of the week, fellow Hivers and Foodies.
Food is one of my greatest pleasures, and sweets are in the top of my favorite things, they are always good to lift your spirits. A few days ago I received a gift, although I like to call it a Sweet Apology, because I know the intentions behind it were to say "I'm sorry" without using the words, so I'm sharing photos of the delicious cake I received.
I have a friend with whom there was a bit of tension, and although we liked each other a bit, I feel that things have come to a head, due to mistakes by both of us of course. The truth is that, as fate would have it, he made a mistake that hurt me a lot, and although I told him not to give it importance, it did affect me and he noticed it. That day I left his house and tried to ignore what had happened, I took my dogs for a walk with my siblings and distracted my mind. I got a call from him, which took me a bit by surprise, and he said "At your house there is a little surprise waiting for you".
When I got home, his cousin was there with some yellow flowers and the delicious cake, which even though I know his aunt sells them, it still made me feel a little better. He immediately sent me a message and apologized for the mistake and for not having given me yellow flowers before. I confess that, being the good eater that I am, the flowers took a back seat when I uncovered the cake, it looked delicious, and I love wet cakes.

It was a delicious tres leches cake, it was wet enough for me to love it, the taste was explosive, all that sweet sensation that I love. After the first bite, I practically couldn't stop myself, I barely recorded the little gif I show you before taking the final bites. I shared it with my family because I could not be selfish and stay alone with that sweet and exquisite taste on my palate.
Needless to say that I immediately forgot the whole problem and thanked him, hahaha, so you know, if you made a sweet lover upset and want to apologize, there is nothing that a delicious tres leches cake can't solve.
