Shungite is an amazing mineral to keep in your home and on yourself for many reasons. Shungite looks like black rocks, but it is really a mineral found in a small village called Shunga in the Republic of Karelia, Russia. Within shungite is almost every element on the periodic table, and because of its therapeutic qualities it has been used in healing for hundreds of years.
My research led me to shungite as a means to mitigate the harmful effects of EMFs (electromagnetic frequencies)-or harmful radiation-from my family and home. Shungite shields or protects us from EMFs by actually absorbing and neutralizing the harmful frequencies. Although this is not an article about EMFs, if you are feeling a bit out of sorts or suffer from any type of disease from high blood pressure to cancer or if you just want to stay healthy, I urge you to learn about EMFs and mitigate them as much as possible. Do your own research as mainstream medicine will lie to you and say that EMFs are harmless.
In addition to shielding us from EMFs, shungite also purifies water. It is used in some water filtration systems. At my home, I have placed a few pieces of shungite in the glass container that holds our drinking water, which comes from a deep pristine well and is then structured. I feel that the shungite makes our drinking water even more therapeutic, getting that amazing hydrating energy directly into our cells.
Shungite also brings light into the auric field, allowing only positive energy to enter that field. In essence, it provides you with both physical and psychic protection. That is why I keep shungite pyramids throughout my home and place shungite stones in my pocket when I know I am going to be around low-vibe people or in low-vibe situations.
Hands-on healers use shungite when healing people who suffer from pain and other disease by placing shungite on the area that needs healing. For example, while the person who needs healing is lying down the healer will place shungite on the person's area of pain or on the tumor or on the kidney area, etc…Shungite will work to absorb the ailment.
For my purposes, I have placed shungite pyramids near my computer, in the kitchen near the major appliances, near the television and in all of the bedrooms. I have placed shungite rocks near where my children play video games, in our glass container of drinking water and on my nightstand.
Have I noticed a difference? Yes. Upon receiving my shugite I washed it and let it dry in the sun. This should be done periodically. I then placed it where I felt it would mitigate EMFs and also bring a general feeling of peacefulness. My space feels calm, I sleep more soundly, my family and I stay healthy, and our pets stay healthy. I’ve also noticed the cats like to lie against the shungite pyramids. I take that as a good sign because a wise healer once told me to, “Look where your pets choose to rest in the house and look at the places they avoid as this speaks volumes.”
You may want to know where to buy shungite. I bought my shungite pyramids on eBay. I bought from reputable sellers and the pyramids are beautiful. They range in price depending on the size you want. I bought some of my shungite rocks on eBay and some at a gem and mineral show. The shungite rocks are very inexpensive.
