How I make Fire Cider to have on hand for Winter (Video Inside)

Fire Cider is an old folk remedy that uses the standard base ingredients of apple cider vinegar, garlic, onion, ginger, horseradish, and hot peppers. I add the zest and juice of a lemon, peppercorns, and cayenne pepper to mine. After it steeps for 4 to 6 weeks and infuses the vinegar with all the goodness that goes into it, I will strain it and add my own honey from my hives. This Fire Cider is WONDERFUL on steamed veggies! It also makes a great salad dressing when mixed with olive oil. This is how I make mine.
