Few days ago I heard of someone who slumped suddenly just after addressing a group of people, he was rushed to the hospital, but unfortunately he died the next morning.
When a person slump, two major organs are affected, the heart and the brain. A slump occur as a result of electrical disturbances in the heart, resulting in heart grip (heart arrest) when there is heart arrest there is a temporary stop in the heart function that is the heart stops pumping blood to the body, when there is no blood supply there will be no oxygen supply. To perform a simple CPR; check if the person is breathing, if not: place your hands below the left breast of the person and press down hard and fast, average of 100-120 times per minutes. Keep pressing till the medical emergency team arrives
