You can apply what you learn in the gym to your everyday life

I think the gym is like a big world. What you learn at the gym can be applied to your daily life.

The world of white chalk, squat racks and scented salt reflects the world of careers, relationships and personal development.

Everyone's experience at the gym is different, but I've learned this since I started (over a year ago).

Gradually overloading is important not only in the gym, but also in life. Anyone who spends time at the gym is faced with the term Progressive Overload. The term simply refers to the theory that lifting more weight or performing more reps stimulates muscle growth.

For example, if a person does her 5 pull-ups one week, the goal should be to do her 6 reps the next week. This leads to increased muscle growth and strength over time.

I think it is the same with life. Challenges, adversity, and difficulties create progress. Reading difficult books, public speaking, and dating all contribute to personal growth. More importantly, they make life more meaningful and enjoyable.

Studying for exams, job interviews, traveling the world, and volunteering are like putting your weight on a barbell.
This gradually leads to overload.

In this context, consistency is as important in the gym as it is in life. The combination of consistency and progressive overload is a powerful combination for personal growth.

Those who go to the gym regularly on a weekly basis see the most improvement. This requires determination, discipline and love for what you do. Hitting the gym for 40 minutes every day, every two weeks he sees an improvement of two hours or more.
