Whole Mind Cooking: Make Your Own Date Toffee with Just One Ingredient!


Looking for something simple and delicious to satisfy your sweet tooth? Look no further! Baked dates, otherwise known as Jerusalem Toffee, are chewy, sweet and so easy to make (just be careful you don't end up eating the whole batch!).

Cook time: 45 minutes

Servings: 4

Cost: $2.50

Steps:

  1. Preheat oven to 225 F (110 C)

  2. Chop lengthwise 1 1/2 cups of pitted medjool dates, spread over parchment paper and bake for around 35 minutes

  3. Turn oven temperature to 275 F (130 C) and bake for another 5 minutes

  4. Serve with almond butter or dark chocolate
