Street Food Adventure @steemflow # 1 - Pav Bhaji

Welcome all Steemians...Especially the foodiess :)

As already informed in morning post (https://steemit.com/travel/@steemflow/adventure-with-steemflow-food-and-travel-20171031t6504600z),
I am starting a series every Tuesday on "Street Foods of India" . I would like to involve food and snacks that are easily available at different corner of the roadside. These food items are readily available in Carts and local shops. I will include my own original pictures taken either from smartphone or Canon camera. In case I fell short somewhere i will arrange from source image.

Starting on the series with my own favourite -" Pav Bhaji". :) :)

Pav means 'Bread Bun' and Bhaji means 'Grinned Mixed Veggies'. The stall at the road side are properly set up and the aroma has pulling me towards the stall. :) The table is beutifully decorated with Pav on one side, Hot Bhaji in the centre, and serving disposable plates besides it.

Fancied of eating chilli and spicy stuff during chilly winter, Pav Bhaji is the best bet among Delhites .Garnished with spices and tastier as ever, it can be easily be found in every blocks of the markets.

The most important aspect of the recepie is the preparation of "Bhaji". It is a very time taking process and includes a lot of vegetables like potatoes,onions,tomatoes, cualiflower etc..All the veggies were messed and deep cooked in butter.
The recepie is always served hot. To keep the bhaji hot, it is always kept on big Pan under a burning stove.

This Pav Bhaji stall is quite popular and situated on Shahjahan Road. I was quite starving by the looks and aroma to give a go on my plate, i get less time in clicking other images. Also being on the road side, the place gets over croweded very soon The speciality is only Bhaji as it is served hot whereas the Pav remains as it is. If somone ask for hot bun the vendor make it bit warm. The below pic of Pav Bhaji plate is from sourced image:

I was also served in same fashion with little chopped onion and a piece of lemon to get a stingy lemony taste. :). No table, No chairs...just eat it out by standing on the road....

That it for folks for today ! Hope you all must have enjoyed and tasted my favourite roadside dish Pav Bhaji. :)

With the Aroma and Taste, do not forget to Upvote / Follow / Comment on my post.

See you next Tuesday with another mouthwatering stuff....Till then Shubhratri (Good Night) take care all.

Thanks
@steemflow
