Hello steemians, today i am going to talk about beer, many people have myths with that beer makes you belly fat and makes you fatty. so lets go scientifically and see what beer do to your body.

My favourite alcohol is beer even in winters , i dont drink beer regularly but i feel one should not only work or concentrate on fitness only but having fun also, i belong to a punjabi family and we have a history of drinking in world as when we have any occasion , alcohol is compulsory in menu.

I used to have beer since i was 21 and i am not going to leave it and i do believe that your life should be balance of fitness , health and of having fun. i am not promoting alcohol anyhow , i am just promoting having fun & chill and as in delhi , this is the most important things nowadays because of traffic, office work, boss,wife and girls ahhmmm! you understand what i am trying to say , you need to have fun but once in a while.

Most of the people think beer is unhealthy because of the tern BEER BELLY but that is just a slang word, beer belly is not caused because of beer but because of other unhealthy junk food. Now when you think of term beer belly , you automatically think of pot belly and thats exactly what it is.

There are two kinds of belly fat, the first is SUBCUTANEOUS BELLY FAT which place just under the skin which you kind of squeeze with your hands and second is VISCERAL FAT , now this kind of belly fat is deeply placed , its near the organs and typical example of this is someone who has pot belly so if you try to grab the fat , it kinds of feel little firm and bloat .

Visceral belly fat is actually a dangerous situation to being in long term but what causes position of it, men are more likely to have pot bellies than women and it increase with the age.

Now if you are thinking about not put on weight but still having fun life at same time , to stay fit you need to have only a neat liquor and at the most with water and soda , but keep in mind you are partying to have fun not only drinking. Now when it comes to beer, one pint of beer have 200 calories , but one neat shot with a mixer is about having 300 calories. Thats the reason that beer is more practical option when you have a fitness goal and still wants to enjoy your life.

Beer is having 17gm of carbs and one banana have 27g of carbs and one can of soft drink is about having 40g of carbs. So if take one glass of any other alcohol with mixer , you are actually having more carbs than a beer.And one more thing when you have your beer after having your gym , then the carbs actually goes into building muscles.The alcohol is

Now there is a thing that Beer hits you a little slowly so lot of people end up drinking a lot of pints to get drunk and in that process you end up taking a lot of carbs and calories but here's what should do now when you go out and know you are going to drink so only drink beer because then you can easily calculate that how much carbs and calories you are taking and you can set a cap for that. The thing with hard liquor that you cant really keep a tab on exactly how much you having especially at something like a house party you cant keep a tab on what exactly 30 ml and what's exactly 60 ml and thatswhy drinking beer is more practical option according to me.

Food you choose to eat with your alcohol is a very big thing and the protocol when it comes to food ideally is that you minimize your carb intake especially if you're drinking beer.Try having something like kebabs or nuts or something like but what exactly i suggest is that you keep your food intake to a minimal and come home and have your grilled chicken and boiled eggs and all that.

So the sum up is that beer does'nt give you beer belly but is having an unhealthy lifestyle and thats what you gotta take care of but keep tracking healthy lifestyle , its very important to have fun at same time.
