Comb Honey

Comb honey is honey intended for consumption which is still contained within its original hexagonal-shaped beeswax cells, called honeycomb. It is eaten as produced by honey bees and has received no processing, filtering, or manipulation.

This is a frame of honey. This is what it looks like when it is taken out of the hive.
.

Comb honey is made by cutting squares from the frame and putting it in a box.

Here is what I got from one hive in 2015. All cut and boxed up.

If you can get some honey in the comb, cut off a piece and place it in your mouth.
Let it rest on your tongue for a moment, savoring the bit of honey from the cells that were just cut.

You are experiencing honey in its truest, purest, most delectable form.

The beeswax is also an edible substance.

Thank-you for taking the time to read my posts.
