INGRIDIENTS
SERVES 6
. 500-600g boerewors, casing removed
. 80ml bread crumbs
. 5ml salt
. 2.5ml freshly ground black pepper
. 2.5ml garlic powder
. 2.5ml dried oregano
. 1 egg
. 200g mozzarella cheese, cut into cubes
. 810g x 1 jar pasta sauce, heated in a bowl in the microwave
. 100g Parmesan cheese, grated
. Fresh parsely, chopped
. 500g spaghetti, cooked

METHOD
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees celcius. Grease a baking sheet with non-stick spray.

Put the boerewors, bread crumbs, salt, pepper, garlic powder, oregano and egg in a bowl and mix well.

Take approximately 30ml of meat mixture and roll it into a ball. Press a cube of cheese into the ball, making sure the meat completely surrounds the cheese. Put the meatball on the baking sheet and repeat with remaining meat and cheese.

Spray the tops of the meatballs with non stick spray and bake for 12 minutes. Grill for a further 3 minutes, but don't overcook as the cheese filling might start to spill out.

Spoon the spaghetti into a bowl, put a few meatballs on top and pour the pasta sauce over. Sprinkle with Parmesan and parsley.

Serve immediately.
