Recipe of the Day - Macaroni Cheese

SERVES 4
300g short macaroni
2t (10ml) pasta spice
30ml olive oil
400g creamy cheese pasta sauce
375ml full cream milk
2 eggs
125ml grated emmenthaler cheese
1/2 cup fresh white bread crumbs
30ml melted butter

METHOD
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees celcius.
Boil the macaroni in unsalted water.
Drain, season with pasta spice and toss with olive oil.
Beat the creamy cheese pasta sauce, milk and eggs together.
Add to the cooked pasta in the pot and stir gently to blend.
Pour into a buttered ovenproof dish.
Sprinkle with grated cheese.
Toss the bread crumbs with the melted butter and sprinkle over the top.
Bake for 35-40 minutes.
Serve with a well dressed salad.
