I promised you beers, I am giving you beers. And not one , not two , not even three but a hundred. Yes, ladies and gentlemen I am giving you The House of 100 Beers.

This is a restaurant in Potsdamer Platz in the center of Berlin. I visited it during my stay in Berlin to quench my thirst for beer and satisfy my hunger for sausages. And as you see from the cover I had them both.

It has an American style decoration and is a calming and quiet place.

I checked on the menu and I always carry my notebook with me. I don’t want you to miss any of the juicy, meaty details …

This restaurant a vast collection of beers.

I ordered a plate of sausages with fries and a beer. And this is what I got.

I swiftly got rid of the green stuff and taste the beer. Konig Ludwig Hell is an excellent beer. Blonde with a white lasting head. Strong smell and strong taste, with a sweet bitterness in the end.

Now let’s see the sausages… First one the Spicey Knacker Sausage. Indeed it had a lot of spices. It was boiled, tender and fluffy. The spices were dominating the flavor. The thing I didn’t like was the thing that covers the sausages that was difficult to eat.

On to the Bavarian Weisswurst. It was boiled and looked and tasted like a hot dog, but it was meatier and saltier, which I am not a fan of. It seeded too processed but I guess you expect that from a food like this.

The next two sausages were grilled. The one I liked the most was the Berliner Bockwurst. You ate it and you could understand that you ate meat. As fatty as needed and as spiced as needed, too. They look like a kind of sausage that we make here in Greece and call them Choriatika ( made at the village ) but thinner. They were great.

The Nurnberger Sausages were equally excellent. The taste was like the first one but they were way smaller. A bit- size sausages. Less meaty but more fluffy with a unique taste.

The fries were good. Obviously frozen but big and crunchy. Wish I had some mustard with this meal. And you can see the reason I can remember so many details.

And I almost forgot. I got another beer. One is like none. It was a Radeberger Pilsner. More blonde and with a longer white head. Refreshing and easy to drink with a strong bitter taste that nearly covers everything else. I liked more the first one.

I had beers , I ate all of my sausages and took plenty of notes. It is difficult to be a food steemit blogger, but on the other hand is so fulfilling and satisfying.

Let’s not kid each other.

I love every minute and every bite and every sip of it.

And until the next food adventure…
