Desserts recipes #1: Apple pie with ricotta cheese instead of butter

Ingredients:

  • 250g ricotta
  • 225g flour
  • 200g sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 apples
  • 1 packet of vanilla-flavoured baking powder
  • powdered sugar

Directions:

  1. Wash and peel the apples, cut into slices about 3mm thick
  2. In a bowl, stir the ricotta cheese and sugar with electric whips until a smooth cream is obtained
  3. Continuing to stir, incorporate the eggs one by one, not adding the next until the previous one is fully incorporated
  4. Add flour and baking powder stirring until the mixture is homogeneous and without lumps
  5. Pour the mixture into a pan buttered and floured and place the apples in concentric circles on the surface
  6. Cook for about 35 minutes in the oven preheated at 180°, doing the toothpick test to check the cooking
  7. Let the cake cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar
