Almond Flour Thin Crust Very Low-Carb Pizza - [Jan 2018]

You'd think that it takes a whole lot of time to do this stuff. But it actually doesn't. It took about 10 minutes for prepping and another 30-35 minutes for baking this pizza, which is very low in carbohydrates and it works well for someone who is following a very-low carbohydrate or ketogenic diet.

This pizza makes 1 serving (about 150g after baked), which is why there's a small amount of each ingredient. So, here's what's in it:

  • 30g almond flour
  • 4g baking powder
  • dash of salt
  • 1 whole egg
  • 30g tomato sauce
  • 20g mushrooms
  • 35g dry salami
  • 20g green olives
  • 20g cheese

Steps:

  1. Mix the dry ingredients: almond flour, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Beat the egg and add the dry mix and mix them until reaching the desired consistency.
  3. You might get a somewhat fluid mix. If this is the case, put it in the preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 5-7 minutes.
  4. Remove it from the oven and add the tomato sauce, mushrooms, salami, olives and cheese.
  5. Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 20-25 minutes. Let it cool before slicing.
