Every Saturday my kids ask for something different in their lunch box. Yesterday I decided to make potato pancake so boiled and peeled potatoes yesterday night and kept in the fridge. If potatoes are already boiled it takes about 1/2 an hour to prepare it.
Ingredients-
- Potatoes medium sized 5 nos
- Onion medium to small size 2 nos
- Green Chilis 2-3 nos
- Corn flour 2 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Vegetable oil for shallow frying
procedure-
- Boil and peel the potatoes.
- Cool down at room temperature and grate (Do not mash)
- Add corn flour, chopped onion, green chilis, and salt. Mix gently.
- Heat little oil in a pan and spread this potato mixture evenly. I used a ring to make it round shape.
- Cook until golden brown and flip. Also, cook this side until turn golden brown.
Serve hot with tomato sauce or any chutney.
