When the people in the adjacent room has dominated the common area of the boarding house leaving you with no where to go for dinner..
So i locked myself inside the room and decided to cook..what i had were potatoes..
So i sliced them into strips (soak in water after — to avoid discoloration while you finish all of the potatoes) The size and shape really didn’t matter especially if you are hungry..
Placed it on a separate plate to dry. make sure that it has something that could absorb the water like a kitchen towel (i had to use a tissue 😂). Tap the exposed part with another towel or tissue.
Transferred it to another plate. To add flavor, i sprinkled some salt and black pepper (i used McCormick black pepper) 
Next, fry at medium heat. I had to use a pan because a deep fryer wasn't an option.
Wait til golden brown.
And finally, dinner
