Ingredients (recipe serves 2-3)
I'm probably the worst person to describe a recipe because I always eyeball everything but I will do my best to estimate the serving sizes.
- 1/2 paprika powder
- 1/2 tbsp cumin powder
- 1/4 tbsp turmeric
- 1/4 tbsp chilli powder or chilli flakes
- black pepper
- onion powder (not necessary to make this recipe work)
- 1/2 tbsp sea salt
- any kind of oil
- 250g tofu
- water to thin
Feel free to add more seasoning to your liking.
Once you get a block of tofu you can add anything you want. Add all the things you would normally add to a scramble. Here are some ideas: onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, kale, etc.
Let's start cooking
- Start sautéing your onions and veggies until golden brown / softened
- Crumble the tofu into bite-sized pieces using a fork or your hands
- Add in all the spices
- Add some extra water if your scramble starts sticking to the pan, this also distributes the spices better
- Cook until the tofu is slightly browned
- Serve immediately or store in a fridge for the next day
