Farmers in Benue state Nigeria:the challenges we face

Farming is part of my people life here in the middle belt of Nigeria,you could literally see their love for farming ,aside the big hactare of land plough in the forest ,they extend it to their living homes , planting vegetables and fruits at home.

But the passion of my people is accompany with unbearable stress due to the use of old and outdated tools that they cant get the opportunity to maximize the resources and grow crops in large commercial quantities

The problem of Erosion also is a stumbling block,the authorities are trying their best but alot need to be done.The lost of crops due to Erosion per year runs to millions of USD.With proper drainage systems and sensitization of the people to properly depose refuse will go along way in tackling the problem
