According to Motherboard, it is possible that Wright and Kleiman participated in the creation of bitcoin. Another possibility is that both are involved in bitcoins not long after they are created. Therefore, they have the tools to mine, allowing them to hoard bitcoins at the beginning of their appearance.

Wright and Kleiman are thought to have at least 1.1 million bitcoins, though no one knows exactly the amount they have. The demand that ensnared Wright was troubling his actions shortly after Kleiman died in 2013.

Wright contacted Kleiman's father. He was later charged with fraud, claiming David Kleiman had signed an agreement that transferred control of W & K, the company under Kleiman, to Wright.

He provided proof of his statement with a document that Ira Kleiman felt was a false document, complete with a false sign.
