Afternoon Dreamers,
I nodded off about 10:30pm last night, then I was awake from just before midnight until 1am, slept through 2am then I was awake again until just before 5am where I slept through until just after 7:30am. What a night! I did manage to have a couple of small dreams. I’m surprised I still remember them. I woke feeling like my eyeballs wanted to drop out of my head!
Wednesday 14th October 2020
I dreamt about seeing someone making a dish from gherkins, aubergines and potatoes. The gherkins were filled with cream cheese and placed along side an aubergine dish like baba ganoush which was then wrapped in mashed potato, breadcrumbs and fried! When the dish was cut into, it was oozing with the cream cheese. It did look warm and comforting and rather delicious. I think I’m going to have to try making what I dreamed of, I have never ever seen a meal like that before, but it did remind me of those jalapeño poppers you can get.
Then I dreamed I was at my mum’s house. She was making sure the kitchen was tidy before the foreign students came down for their dinner. The students were two girls in their late teens / early twenties. They came in rather late and were giggling to themselves. I didn’t think what they did was funny as it was about 10:30pm before they made themselves known and everyone wanted to go to bed, but they could’t until they had finished their dinner. Then it was the morning and the same thing happened for breakfast. They came down so late and everyone else just wanted them to hurry up. I tried to make conversation with them but they didn’t give a rats ass! They could speak English, but pretended not to know what I was talking about.
I can still envisage the meal in my head. I really want to take a snapshot of my mind so you can all see what I’m on about. I know gherkins aren’t everyones cup of tea, but I really like them, and I love aubergine and anything fried. So to have them all together sounded amazing! As for the foreign students… if there’s one thing I can’t stand is rude people and people who think the world owes them everything. If this was in real life, I would have no hesitation letting them have it. If they still continued to act up, then I would gladly throw them out the door. Some people should know better.
