Really don’t think I can top my dream from Monday night, but this one I think is a close second. It was strange to say the least.
Tuesday 13th October 2020
I dreamed I was in the car park where I used to work over ten years ago. I parked in the same spot too. The first space on the first column of spaces in the second half of the car park. I parked about a foot over the line so the next car wasn’t close to mine. There’s nothing worse than having little dent’s in the door where people have been careless opening their door.
I got out of the car and started to walk into the building. Before I got to the building, I turned around and thought maybe I shouldn’t have parked like that. Then I was in two minds what to do. Do I move my car or do I leave it where it is.
Next thing my car had the top down. (I don’t own a convertible) and I saw about three pairs of my Ray-Ban Aviators in the seat.
I picked them up and stuffed them into my make up bag. I even folded some of the sun glasses in half! (I’d break them if that happened for real as they’re not made for bending). Then I didn’t know whether to leave the car with the top down or put it up. Then I thought it’s probably for the best that I pick my car up and take it with me…. Literally picking it up in my hand from the top to grab to and carry it around with me!
Lastly I couldn't remember if I was working to 1pm or 4pm as it was a weekend.
I have had dreams about my car before, but it’s been a good few months or so since I last did. Although, it’s not the first time I dreamed about picking it up in my hand like a toy car and walking off with it. What does that mean? It seems like such an everyday thing to have sunglasses in the car, but to have a few pairs there and bending them and shoving them away? I’d never do that! They’d get damaged and I always put things back neatly and tidy. When I worked in this building, I didn’t have my current car, but I am always careful where I put it as it’s very special to me and took a lot of hard work and many years to have such a nice car. I know I do walk back to things a lot. Especially my front door. Call it OCD, but I always have to double check and triple check it’s locked, even know I know I did it the first time.
