Hello All,

It’s been over a year since I last wrote about my dreams. I’m still dreaming believe it or not, but I had been too busy to post them. It all changes today. I have still been keeping a diary so it’s nice to go back to them and read about them over the past few months, however, from today I have decided to start sharing them with you all. I do find dreams fascinating. See what you make of this!

Sunday 13th September 2020

Last night, I dreamed I was coming back from holiday with my husband and another couple. We were at the airport and we had all checked in. We had been through security and our bags and luggage were scanned and all was ok. Next thing, my friends suitcases were on a conveyer belt and I had to grab them. There was a giant pink case that looked like it made out of the same material as a puffer jacket, then there was a hard grey case and another fabric case that was in a darker shade of grey.

I believed the pink puffer one belonged to my friend… well I can’t Imagine her partner having that one! Ha ha! After I got the cases from the conveyer belt, I found my friend to give them their cases. Then there was an announcement by the airline. They said no one was travelling unless we all coughed up some extra cash! This was absurd! Considering we were in the business class cabin. It turned out we all needed to pay £1000 per couple before we were allowed to be anywhere departures, let alone boarding! I was really annoyed!

Next thing, I turned to my friends and they were gone! I had no idea where they had got to. Someone told me my friends were in another section of the airport called Green Trees or something. (I can’t exactly remember what the place was called but it definitely had the word Tree in it.) I remember walking to try and find this place. I ended up walking through some high end empty restaurant. The head chef told me to “Get out!” Well that was pretty rude considering I wasn’t actually doing anything.

As I continued to walk, I found myself in the shopping area of the airport, you know where they sell designer goods, sunglasses and that sort of thing. My friends still were nowhere to be seen! I don’t even remember seeing my husband either. I was all alone! That’s where I woke up.

I didn’t ever meet up with my friends and I didn’t even manage to board the plane! It’s strange dreaming about flying because with everything going on in the world at the moment, it’s the last thing I want to do. Maybe once, if ever this virus decides to 'do one’ , then I will consider making plans to visit another country. It did make me laugh seeing the bright pink puffer case! I must tell my friend about that. I don’t know what she will make of it! I talk to this friend everyday so I can only imagine this is why it was her and her partner that featured in my dream. I do wonder what this dream means overall. Am I going to be making plans to go away? I really don’t see that happening anytime soon. Could it be a sign that things are going to get better and I can fly? I have no idea. Whatever it means I’ll be happy just to see the world return to it’s former self.
