Afternoon Everyone

Wowzers! I had such long dreams again last night. I fell asleep really early. About 9:30pm. This was after I stuffed my face full of crisps, dips, apple turnovers and bakewell tarts! No wonder. I think I must have been put into a sugar coma. Although, with all that sugar you would think I would be wide awake and buzzing! Nope… I fell asleep. What is wrong with me!! I’ll be writing my dreams over two posts again, so make sure you catch up on both. They’re really interesting.

Saturday 19th September 2020 (Part 1)

I dreamed about one of my other female friends. There were a few of us and we were planning a hen party. We each had these long ’Mrs Claus’ outfits. It was a long furry dress with a hood. The dresses were reversible. On one side it was green and on the other side it was red. It was obvious that the bride to be would be wearing the red dress and the rest of us in green.

As I put on my dress, the inside was red but the outside was silver. I couldn’t understand why the dress had changed colour, but i was happy about it as it looked much better than the green. After trying the dress on we were all given tasks of what we had to organise for the hen party. I had to organise the party favours. Well given that it’s a hen party, you can only imagine the sorts of things to order… ooh err. I was getting flustered and I kept being asked by the other hens if I was alright. I don’t know by this point was I getting frustrated thinking about all the things I had to do or because people kept pestering me with the same question. I replied ”It’s ok, I’ve got this and I’ve been asked to to this by the bride to be so I will be doing this myself!!”. That managed to shut them up.

Next thing we were on the hen party. We walked into a huge outdoor swimming pool at a hotel. It could have been something out of Ibiza. The pool and building was white. There was a DJ playing and a bar was in the centre of the pool… in the actual water! We had VIP tickets and we headed to the bar. This time I wasn’t in the furry dress, but I was wearing a long white dress with flip flops. As I waded into the water, my flip flops acted like surfboards and I ’surfed’ up to the bar. It felt amazing! I was telling the girls about my performance.

At the side of the bar was the food area. It was the most disgusting thing I ever seen. It looked like an abattoir. I thought I saw something that looked like red raw chicken and I was investigating it. Then I heard the girls talk about frogs legs. I thought I was looking at a skinned whole frog… turns out it was a skinned crocodile head! I felt sick!!

What the hell??!! The last part of this dream was the most disgusting thing I ever dreamed of and I have no idea why I dreamed this either! The rest of the dream was amusing though. Firstly my friend has been engaged for years and there are no current signs for a wedding anytime soon. Maybe I have predicted something. Mind you, saying that. What with all this Covid around, I don’t think anyone in their right mind would be planning a wedding now. I can still picture the furry dresses. They did look rather cozy and perfect for a winter wedding, but for me, the best part of this dream was surfing in flip flops. That’s something I’m going to have to try for sure!
