Palestinian Dessert

Ingredients:

2 cups flour
1 teaspoon yeast
1 cup water
1 tablespoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
2 teaspoons vegetable oil
1 teaspoon cornstarch
a little water
oil for frying
sugar syrup
(Preparation of "sugar syrup": 2 cups sugar - a glass of water - a teaspoon of lemon juice) and leave it to cool.

How to prepare :

  1. Mix the flour with water,yeast and salt.
    Add the melted starch in the water with two tablespoons of vegetable oil and a tablespoon of sugar to the dough, knead well and leave for an hour until brewing.
    Using a teaspoon, cut the dough into small balls and fry all the pieces in the hot oil until be gold .
  2. Put the hot dessert in a deep dish and pour the cold "sugar syrup" on it.
