Happy Friday, Splinterlands and Hivers community! We're starting June and we have a ton of news to share, from Lux's Favor and the Volt Event to Summer Fun and, most recently, the exclusive skins for the exclusive cards purchased with vouchers: Grayhammer Painsmith, Conjurer's Hubris, and Lorn. These three dual-element cards have greatly helped diversify my Conclave Arcana deck, as I try to avoid playing Rebellion cards as much as possible. I currently have 50 vouchers saved up and I'm thinking of buying 75 to get the first Conjurer's Hubris skin, which I absolutely love. > Feliz viernes comunidad de Splinterlands y Hivers! Estamos comenzando el mes de Junio y vaya que tenemos una avalancha de noticias que compartir, desde el Favor de Lux, Volt Event, Summer Fun y más recientemente las Skins exclusivas de las cartas exclusivas que se compran con vouchers: Grayhammer Painsmith, Conjurer's Hubris y Lorn. Tres cartas bi elementales que han ayudado ampliamente a diversificar el mazo de Conclave Arcana, ya que trato de no jugar con cartas Rebellion en la medida de lo posible. Actualmente tengo acumulado 50 vouchers y estoy pensando en comprar 75 vouchers para adquirir la primera skin de Conjurer's Hubris que me ha encantado su diseño.

Now, back to Ranked, we're continuing to progress in Frontier, managing to upgrade some cards this week after collecting the daily rewards in the Gold League. Speaking of this particular issue, I'd like to highlight the long matchmaking times—sometimes over two and a half minutes! This is frustrating considering you're usually matched with someone using a helper, you lose, and then you have to repeat the same long loop. I mean, just today I started playing at 9 AM and finished the last battle to collect my rewards at 12:30 PM! That's over three hours to finish a daily mission—it's absurd! These are the kinds of things that frustrate and drive new players away: being practically stuck for over three hours for rewards that are barely worth a few cents. In short, subjecting players to a kind of part-time job is neither viable nor fun if we want to overcome this long crypto storm. > Ahora volviendo a Ranked, seguimos avanzando en Frontier, logrando esta semana upgradear algunas cartas después de cobrar las recompensas dirias en la liga de oro. Hablando sobre este oarticular me gustaría destacar los largos tiempos que le toma al juego conseguir el match, has más de dos minutos y medio conseguir match! Esto es frustrante considerando que al final sueles ser emparejado con alguien que usa helper, pierdes y vuelves a repetir el mismo largo bucle. Me refiero a que tan solo hoy comencé a jugar a las 9 am y terminé la última batalla para cobrar mis recompensas a las 12:30 del medio día! Es decir, MÁS DE 3 HORAS para terminar una misión diaria, es absurdo! Son las cosas que frustran y alejan nuevos jugadores el hecho de estar prácticamente clavado más de 3 horas por recompensas que a duras penas valdrán unos centavos. En resumen, someter a los jugadores a una especie de trabajo de medio tiempo es algo poco viable y mucho menos divertido, si lo que queremos es superar esta larga tormenta crypo.

So far, I've stayed within the top 30 in the rankings, and I think this has been possible because I already have most of my cards at the maximum level. Above my current position, I'm facing opponents with exclusive Foundations cards, which are only obtained by claiming rewards. I have very few of these cards, and I haven't had any luck claiming a Jackpot. Otherwise, I've been consistent this week claiming my rewards, partly to complete my Foundations collection and partly to secure a prize in Monday's draws. Here are the results of these 5 days of reward farming. > Hasta ahora me he mantenido entre los 30 del ranking y creo que este resultado ha sido posible gracias a que ya tengo la mayoría de mis cartas al máximo nivel. Por encima de la posición en la que estoy, enfrento oponentes con las cartas exclusivas Foundations, las que solo se consiguen cada vez que reclamas las recompensas, de las cuales tengo muy pocas y no he tenido suerte en conseguir uno de estos Jackpot cada vez que reclamo mis recompensas. Por lo demás, he sido consistente esta semana reclamando mis recompensas en parte para completar mi colección de Foundations, como también el de asegurar algún premio en los sorteos del lunes. A continuación te comparto el resultado de estos 5 días de farmeo de recompensas.

Many of these cards are already maxed out, including the legendaries, but even though you can't make much money selling them, I prefer to burn them to get tokens that will help me in the draw. Amidst this avalanche of cards, we finally managed to max out Dire Bear and thus complete 100% of all the common Foundations cards, excluding the jackpot commons, of course. > Muchas de estas cartas ya las tenemos al máximo, incluyendo las legendarias, pero aunque no se puede sacar mucho dinero de venderlas, prefiero más bien quemarlas para conseguir fichas que me ayuden en el sorteo. Entre esta avalancha de cartas, finalmente logramos llevar al máximo nivel a Dire Bear y así completar al 100% todas las cartas comunes Foundations, excluyendo las comunes del jackpot obviamente.

The other card we managed to upgrade was Glimmermancer to level 3. Like the Water epics, it was quite elusive for me. I bought the last copy I needed for $0.02 because I was finally tired of waiting for this card to drop after so many months without any epic cards. Plus, I was excited to try out the new skin for this card that I got from the prize wheel thanks to Lux's favor! > La otra carta que logramos upgradear fue Glimmermancer a lvl 3, esta al igual que las épicas de agua me fue bastante esquiva compré la copia que me faltaba por 0,02$ porque me cansé definitivamente de esperar que esta carta me cayera después de tantos meses sin caer cartas épicas. Además que me hacía ilusión probarle la nueva skin de esta carta que había conseguido en la ruleta de premios con el favor de Lux!

The Glimmermancer skin wasn't the only one I got on the prize wheel. I also got the Frankarsgard tank skin, which is also very original. I suppose these skins are related to the ones sold in the Sparks Circa Royale shop, since they have the same carnival theme. I hope they aren't the only ones obtainable via the prize wheel and that there are more because the designs of all the ones I've seen so far are truly spectacular. > La Skin de Glimmermancer no fue la única que obtuve en la ruleta de premios. También conseguí la del tanque Frankarsgard que es muy original también. Supongo que estas skins están relacionadas con las que se venden en la tienda de Sparks Circa Royale, ya que tienen la misma temática de carnaval. Espero que no sean las únicas en obtenerse vía ruleta de premios y hayan más porque realmente el diseño en todos los que he visto hasta ahora son espectaculares.

Opening Gladius Cases! ======================

I wanted to wrap up this Splinterlands progress report by opening a couple of Gladius cases. In the most recent Brawl, I didn't have time for a thorough report because I was completely absorbed by the Volt Event, maxing out the Electrofox, and finally acquiring a cage to lock it in. All that processing made me forget that I should keep opening these cases regularly, even if it's just a couple. And in this case, we got a big surprise: enough copies of Bertrol Gobson to reach level 8. > Quise cerrar este reporte de progreso en Splinterlands abriendo un par de Gladius cases, en la más reciente Brawl no me dio tiempo de hacer un reporte exhaustivo porque estaba consumido completamente con el Volt Event, la compra del Electrofox al máximo nivel y finalmente adquirir una parcela donde bloquearla. Todo ese proceso me hizo olvidar que debo seguir abriendo estos cases con regularidad, aunque sea un par, y en este caso obtuvimos una gran sorpresa, las copias suficientes de Bertrol Gobson para alcanzar el nivel 8.

Although I use his sister, Katrelba Gobson, more often, Bertrol Gobson is a card I tend to use in very low-mana battles. Being an opportunistic card, his targets are always weak units, and now that he deals 3 damage at level 8, he can one-shot units weak enough to trigger his Bloodlust. > Aunque es su hermana, Katrelba Gobson la que uso con más frecuencia, Bertrol Gobson es una carta que suelo usar en batallas de muy bajo mana, al ser una carta oportunista su blanco son siempre unidades débiles, y ahora que en nivel 8 hace 3 de daño, puede eliminar de 1 golpe unidades lo suficientemente débiles como para eliminarlas y activar su bloodlust.

Other cards nearing level 8 are those I have 60 or more copies of, such as Krash Wanderford, Alva the Crusher, Katrelba Gobson, Helmet Kharafax, and Whistling Damon. Of all of them, Katrelba Gobson and Krash Wanderford are among those I use most in brawls, so I hope they'll be the next to join Bertrol Gonson. > Otras cartas próximas a alcanzar el nivel 8 son las que tengo 60 o más copias como Krash Wanderford, Alva the Crusher, Katrelba Gobson, Helmet Kharafax y Whistling Damon. De todas ellas, Katrelba Gobson y Krash Wanderford son de las que más utilizo en las brawls, asi que espero que sean las próximas en acompañar a Bertrol Gonson.
