Yesterday, I decided to combine two of my old and new passions into one project: a bento box painted with gouache! I dug through my bento box photo archives and found a photo with a lot of bright colors

I packed my youngest son a bento box lunch for the first time in a while this morning. He had cucumber “fries”, sliced salami, a small piece of chocolate cake, hummus (for the cukes), grapes, and Triscuits.
