Hace algunos años se veían más cervezas escandinavas por Europa y, al menos para mí, fueron los que me decubrieron las IPA modernas, más densas y afrutadas. Marcas como Lervig, Brewski, Dry & Bitter y la propia Apex que os muestro hoy, hacían cervezas ya míticas dentro de los círculos de los amantes de la cerveza. La supersonic o la Tasty Juice de Lervig o las Passionfever y Mangofever de Brewski. Eran cervezas espectaculares, muy afrutadas, sí, pero sinn dejar de lado el lúpulo. Hoy en día ya no veo tanto producto del Norte de Europa y desconozco el motivo y la fiebre de la IPA afrutada y sin amargor arrasa con todo.
Pero... como dice un buen amigo mio, siempre estaremos buscando la IPA perfecta.

Pues la cerveza no está mala, ni mucho menos, pero se me queda corta de sabor y amargor. Una IPA apagada. Muy fácil de beber y refrescante pero algo sosa.
Muy buen aroma eso sí.
A few years ago there were more Scandinavian beers in Europe and, at least for me, they were the ones that introduced me to modern, denser and fruitier IPAs. Brands like Lervig, Brewski, Dry & Bitter and Apex itself that I show you today, made beers that were already legendary within the circles of beer lovers. The supersonic or the Tasty Juice from Lervig or the Passionfever and Mangofever from Brewski. They were spectacular beers, very fruity, yes, but without leaving aside the hops. Nowadays I no longer see so much product from Northern Europe and I don't know the reason and the fever of fruity IPA without bitterness sweeps everything away.
But... as a good friend of mine says, we will always be looking for the perfect IPA.

Well, the beer is not bad, far from it, but it falls short of flavor and bitterness. A dull IPA. Very easy to drink and refreshing but somewhat bland.
Very good aroma, yes.
