The best holiday I ever had took place in Lagos in the month of June, 2021. I started planning for the trip four months ahead Lagos is a fun city and if you have the money, there are lots of interesting places to visit. Thankfully, the crypto market wasn't doing so badly. I had enough cash ready for my adventure.
The adventure started the moment I boarded my flight. It was my first time ever flying. I was really terrified. My heart was racing and I kept praying to God for a safe landing. It was dark by the time we landed. My younger sister picked me up from the airport. She took me to a nice restaurant for au "welcome to Lagos' treat.
The next few days were spent at home due to the rainy weather. On the fourth day, we got some respite and decided to go on a trip to Landmark beach. The beach is a private beach with a beautiful environment. I had so much fun playing in the water. There were lots to eat and drink but I didn't pay for any. All expenses were paid by the gentleman I met at the airport. He also flew to Lagos but on business class. He is a very generous person.
The next day I met up with a friend of mine at a restaurant. He bought me lunch. We had a good time catching up. While together, we called another friend of ours who met up with us. It was so nice to see @Samest for the first time. He took me on a drive round the area and also took me shopping. He bought lots of things for me at the mall. After shopping, he took me to a pizza joint and bought pizza and ice cream for me. The feeling was indescribable.
The next week I met up with the gentleman from my trip. He took me shopping and bought me some beautiful clothes. After shopping we went on a lunch date and had a lot to talk about. Turns out he wanted a relationship. Unfortunately, I was in a relationship already and part of the reasons I decided to come to Lagos was to meet up with my boyfriend for the first time and get to know each other better. Poor guy was heartbroken.
During my stay in Lagos, I travelled down to the Island to meet up with my boyfriend for the first time. We were so excited to finally see each other. He took me to go meet his parents. They were very delighted to see me. His work didn't give us much time to spend together but I'm grateful for the little time we had. Well, that boyfriend is now my husband馃ぉ.
My trip to Lagos will forever remain the best holiday I have ever had. It was quite a memorable one and I had so much fun to last me another year.
