Splinterlands: I Finally Faced Tenrai & Suiko and They Almost Broke Me!!!
Hello Splinterlands warriors!This is 
Back in August 2026, Splinterlands celebrated its 8th anniversary by releasing two special Neutral Dragonkin Promo Cards: Tenrai and Suiko.
I have been waiting for a chance to face them in battle. I really wanted to test this pair myself and then the Splinterlands gods finally granted my wish. A dream come true. 😂
Here is a little brief on these two dragonkins
Tenrai – The Swift Hunter (Epic,8 mana)
His Opportunity ability lets him automatically target the enemy with the lowest Health.
He also carries Kindred Spirit: Giant Killer. At the start of battle, any adjacent unit with Kindred Will gains Giant Killer (double damage against 10+ mana monsters).
And here is the interesting part: Bulwark. When placed in the first position, Tenrai loses a bit of Power but gains a big +8 Health and +8 Armor. The hunter can suddenly turn into a solid frontline wall.
Suiko – The Calculated Executioner (Legendary, 8 mana)
His Apex Strike ability makes him target the enemy with the highest Power.
He also has True Strike (his attacks never miss) and Kindred Wil: Armored Strike. At the start of battle, adjacent units with Kindred Spirit gain Armored Strike.
The Perfect Partnership.
Place them next to each other and the synergy kicks in:
- Tenrai gives Giant Killer to Suiko
- Suiko gives Armored Strike to Tenrai
One cleans up the weak. The other eliminates the biggest threat. Together they become a real problem to deal with.

The Battle
I finally got the matchup I had been looking for. Tenrai and Suiko appeared on the opposite side and Barashkukor, together with my allied units, rose to the challenge.
We took them down. It felt incredibly satisfying to finally face the anniversary dragons and come out on Please watch the replay.
Broken arrows and Maneuvers.
This is the lineup and you can see how my opponent placed Tenrai and Suiko close to each other so that they can fully compliment each other as the battle proceeds. Especially activating their Kindred Will and Kindred Spirit on each other.
Tenrai gained armored strike from Suiko.
Suiko gained Giant Killer from Tenrai.
Tenrai seen unleashing armored strike one my unit.
But Barashkukor and his allied units were equal to the task ahead.Game over
