Good morning warriors! Wishing you all a happy new day and a brand new week. This is @zusi78.
A few days ago, I bought Buns the Unseen using my accumulated sparks for 30k. Today I hit another jackpot while playing Frontier Ranked and pulled another Buns the Unseen, so I now have two copies. It might interest you to know that at the Circa Royale Spark Shop, there are no longer any copies of Buns the Unseen—not even one.
Splinterlands is no walk in the park, but that's what amps up the excitement.A winning strategy weighs stats, abilities, rulesets, mana caps, and beyond. That's why you must factor them all into your deck building.Toss in strong cards to boost your setups, and push hard to rack up as many victories as possible! 🔥
Buns the Unseen is a Rare Neutral Human unit from Splinterlands’ Arena Vanguard limited-run set (part of the Foundations/Extra collection). It was released on July 21, 2026, as one of eight community-inspired cards (seven Rare units + one Legendary Dragon Archon).
Buns the Unseen draws its inspiration from the well-known Splinterlands streamer and content creator Buns Bags and Caps (@bunsbagsandcaps). Being a Neutral card, it can be played with any Archon or summoner, giving it broad flexibility across all elements and game formats—including Frontier, where Foundations cards form the core of playable decks. As I said earlier and with the screenshot I shared above, there's no single copy left in the Circa Royale Spark Shop.
Abilities (Progression)
At (level 1),it has the reach ability.
(At level 2),It unlocks an important ability called Void armor.
At( level 4,max),It unlocks its final ability called Silence.
Silence is excellent against magic-focused compositions and pairs beautifully with Void Armor / Void on your own tanks. It is particularly strong in Wands Out, Arcane Dampening, or any ruleset that favors or forces magic attacks.
Market value: Due to high demand for this card, it is currently selling for $1.74. I need 3 more copies to upgrade it to level 2 and unlock the Void Armor ability.
My Verdict on the card.
Buns the Unseen is a thematic and mechanically cohesive card that rewards smart positioning and anti-magic strategy. Its combination of Reach (offensive flexibility), Void Armor (defensive resilience against the most common high-damage attack type), and Silence (team-wide utility) makes it a strong mid-to-late game piece, especially once fully leveled. The high mana cost and Neutral status position it as a flexible specialist rather than a core low-mana staple—perfect for the high-mana, strategic depth that Foundations and Frontier encourage.
The flavor (mysterious wanderer who weakens magic and turns battles) matches the abilities perfectly, and the community origin adds extra appeal for collectors and fans of the streamer who inspired it.
