This is another example of my work with models I have never met. Of course I prefer to draw folks with whom I share a common interest ... or have carried a conversation with ... and have spent some time going back and forth with until we decide on the perfect photo.
— This way - we are both invested in the product - and it tends to turn out better. It’s the process employed for 99% of my illustrations of models.
The other 1% are the times when someone like Hiro (seen above) pops into one of my feeds ... and the pose is so perfect - I just have to draw it.
