Hackernoon has just launched 'The Noonies Awards' for many various categories and one of them has Steemit in the running! Steemit is in the running for 'Social Network of the Year' and when I say Steemit deserves this award is just an understatement. Steemit, in fact, is the pioneer of ALL content creation platforms that use blockchain tech.

Right now, I would like to see Steemit on the top as to how we've always done it in other contests. It will definitely not only get us good exposure, but people will actually know that the community here is alive and kicking good. Also, that we are REAL. Not just some random blockchain that gives out free tokens in exchange for nothing of value while we on Steemit create the best of content AND we get to earn as well.
