I'm one who eats a lot and someone who is adventurous when it comes to food. Good food only that is. I wouldn't dip my hands into eating fetuses, dogs or monkey brains though. I need good cooked food such as pork, lamb, beef and my least favourite, chicken but I still eat it cause it's cheaper than the others. Pork being my favourite, I would always stock up my fridge monthly with premium pork meat. Some of which you guys have it in your country as normal food, we have it here as premium because we do not have a good pig farm.
Most of the time I like to try new recipes like this recent one which I made for a Christmas eve party. The 'siew yoke' direct translates to roasted pork is one of the most loved in Malaysia. We usually pair these piggies with chicken rice and some of us can just eat it ala carte with pints of beer. It goes great with it because of the saltiness.
Then there are times where I order premium pork belly, sirloin and shoulder just to cook and have a good meal. Probably dip them in hotpot or pan fry it. Either way, it's always going to be good.
From here on out, let me just dazzle you with somemore Malaysian food.
Yes, this is chicken feet. I know it's gross but it's loved by a lot of Malaysians her.
Then you have my hometown's famous noodles called the curry laksa. Thin vermicelli noodles based with many spices and prawn sambal paste.
Egg fried rice is very rampant around here. It's our staple! We eat rice daily and everywhere you go has rice. How... rice!~
This is the chicken rice I talked about. The famous Ipoh chicken rice, and then you have the chicke feet at the corner too. Told ya we love feet.
Before I go, here is a last food photo to get your tummy growling and also because the delivery guy is just around the corner.
