I ended 2020 on a sad but positive note. Sad that my favourite intern has ended his contract with the company and not going to get hired due to budget restraints but also I know 2021 would be a good year
My friends and I was just planning to have a small new year's eve gathering at his place. Sometimes it doesn't have to be a big one. Just a few so we can chill and just chat. I don't really like huge crowds and parties as well as I'm introverted in nature.
I was working on new years eve but we were allowed to leave at 4pm. I go home at around 5 and took a nap. I was tired as I haven't been sleeping well for the past few days. At 7pm, my friend woke me up because she was at my gate to pick me up to head to the new years eve party.
We ordered burgers, and desserts for the gathering and bought a few cans of beer and fizzy drinks.
When it was near midnight, we head up to the 30th rooftop where we could have a clear view of the fireworks. Unfortunately this year, the government banned any big fireworks because they didn't want to attract mass gatherings. So there were a few fireworks litted by individual households. Nothing too fancy but it felt good to start the year 2021.
